Wavefront increases its stake in Stamas Gruppen

Through the investment company Wavefront AS, Pål Svanes and Silje Kværne have acquired a stake in Stamas Holding AS, which owns, amongst others, the companies Stamas Solutions (AS 100%) and Stamas Productions AS (90.1%). They have thus become the second-largest shareholder, holding 19.8% of the company’s shares, behind the majority shareholder Harald Vigre.

In addition, they demonstrate both the willingness and ability to adapt to tomorrow's demands and expectations. Wavefront will now help to support this venture, where Stamas will continue the work of gearing up for tomorrow's market through digitalisation, good processes, agile working methods and sustainable production. With the customer at the centre and the future in sight, Stamas aims to be best in class. They will focus on developing the already strong qualities the company possesses, while at the same time preparing the company for further growth in the coming years.

Pål Svanes, who is currently managing director of Stamas Holding AS and Stamas Solutions AS, as well as chair of the board of Stamas Productions AS, has worked in the organisation for almost 4 years, and stepped into the role of CEO for the Stamas Group in the autumn of 2019. Over recent years, Pål has got to know both the industry and the people. «The company is doing well and the owners have a clear idea of where we are heading next.
